In 1981 Randall began a career in financial planning and money management, becoming FINRA Series 7, 65, life/health insurance licensed and trained as a financial planner. He quickly recognized the personal gratification found in helping people understand, attain, and finally accept financial independence. In 1985 he started his own independent financial services and advisory firm, and joined SABRE in 2018.
For the past thirty-eight years, he has seen the positive impact that financial planning has had on the lives of many clients and their families. Finding ways for clients to both plan for the future while living for the present continues to be especially fulfilling.
He was among the first financial advisors to attain the BFA designation: Behavioral Financial Advisor. Managing emotions and making good decisions that are consistent with one’s values is one of the most difficult parts of helping clients achieve long-term goals. By understanding a client’s core values and the ways in which emotions can impact decision making, he helps clients develop better skill sets for making rational decisions that are in alignment with their values, even in situations where they are experiencing strong feelings. Being able to show the connection between their goals, core values and the advice they receive, clients can feel more confident that they are making sound financial decisions while still honoring what is most important to them.
When he is not helping clients realize their goals, you can find him exploring new wineries and restaurants with his wife, Diana (a wonderful travel partner), hiking and backpacking, enjoying a walk on the beach wherever it may be, and spending time with family and friends.
